What We DoThe Trust Fund office, located at 2220 Hyperion Ave., in the city of Los Angeles, provides administrative services to participants of UFCW Union locals in Southern California employed in the Retail Drug Store Industry, health care fields and general service and retail businesses. We also assist retirees and eligible dependents with their health and pension benefits. The total number of participants we service is about 25,000. UFCW Unions and Contributing Employers have collectively bargained for the benefits provided under these Plans. The Plans are primarily supported by Employer contributions as provided by these collective bargaining agreements. These Plans are governed by the Board of Trustees appointed by the participating Unions and Contributing Employers. The Trustees are responsible for managing the Funds under the terms of their respective Trust Agreements and the Collective Bargaining Agreements. In addition to investment advisors and managers, the Board of Trustees retains other professional advisors, such as attorneys, actuaries and accountants. The Fund also employs a salaried administrator and office staff to handle the day-to-day operations of the Funds. Please visit our contact information page for street address, phone and department details, as well as a detailed map and directions to our office. |
